In 1993, my father Dwight Montz, my brother David, and I founded
SeaBrook Marine because we love to be around boats and thought it
would be great if we did it for a living.
Since then, our operations have expanded every two or three years.
We're now the biggest and best-equipped boatyard in Louisiana and one
of the largest operations on the Gulf Coast.
Today SeaBrook Marine proudly remains a family business, with my
brother and I at the helm. With our staff of 30 skilled professionals,
our 85-ton Travelift, deep-water access, and large-capacity spray
booth, we can handle just about anything that has to do with boats.
We've refitted 100-footers and we've worked on rowing skulls. And
SeaBrook Marine has even extended the hulls of existing boats.
Like everyone else on the Gulf Coast, our biggest challenge came in
the wake of Hurricane Katrina, when we had to retool the whole yard
from the ground up. We passed that test, and we also brought about 300
heavily storm-damaged boats back into service.
Our biggest expansion included the addition of SeaBrook Harbor, a top-
of-the-line dry-stack facility that offers indoors, storm-protected
storage for 200 boats from 20 to 40 feet long. It's the first dry-
stack facility in New Orleans, and the safest, most convenient way to
use and protect your boat.
We at SeaBrook Marine and SeaBrook Harbor understand boats, and we
understand how to treat boaters. For more information, fill out the
convenient on-line forms, give us a call at 504-283-9801 (Fax

Hope to see you soon!
